Water Tank Gauge:

This is in a 4600 SCB, we usually fill up while having someone watch the gauge.
We found that filling without watching the gauge, you can pin the float to the top of the tank.
The float travels between 20 and 80% of the tank.
When you overfill, you at times have to remove the float and reset it.
The tank is under the inboard bed, to the aft. Jc

Broken Cabinet Hinge Replacements
:
Dear Maxum Owners,
I come bearing good news and bad news. If you have suffered a broken hinge on any of your cabinetry, I must inform you that the hinge is no longer manufactured and none are available for replacement.
The good news is that the manufacturer Grass America has a lifetime warrantee on their hinges. If you are in need of replacing a broken hinge, the good news is that there is a similar characteristic hinge that will replace your broken hinge. Replacement of EURO series hinge: the new stock number for the hinge is SKU79840-01. The base plate, depending upon your cabinetry, stock number is 13158 face frame adapter with lip or 10759-01 for the standard flat base plate.
Grass America is located at 1202 Highway 66 South, Kernersville, NC, 27284. If you wish to visit their web site it is
Grass America will send you 6 new hinges and base plates at no charge if you send back to them one of your broken hinges.

Leaking Drain in a 4100 SCB:
Hi Todd,
Glad you got the TV thing done…
The drain is a standard household drain you can take out and get a match at a plumbing supply store, it is held in place by the three screws you see and the bottom is attached to a hose with hose straps. Be careful not to loose the hose, it is a difficult item to retrieve since that part of the bilge is not accessible from below.
I replaced my hose by attaching a new one to the old with a short flange and straps and feeding it down to the sump pump.
Your leaking problem may be fixed by just prying it out (carefully not to break the gelcoat, you can use antibond to loosen it, and reapply a good amount of 3m sealant.
The water accumulating in the wrong spot can be corrected by better leveling the boat (moving batteries, storage items mothers in law, or fuel until it drains well.
